Advice on preparing to be a music major in college

Page history last edited by Nicole Riner 1 year, 2 months ago

Food for thought (contributed by Jennifer Cluff):  "In rural areas where there are few flute specialist teachers, college music programs often greet first year students who have no previous flute lessons, and yet hope to become flute educators and performers themselves. What can these students do to mentally prepare for their first private lessons? How can private lessons be described so they can understand easliy how to focus and get ahead in their lessons?"
